As we are experiencing extreme market volatility that can expose simulation accounts to uncontrollable risk, specifically during openings after prolonged market breaks, we are implementing some temporary protective measures.
1. Oil symbols can only be traded intraday. After the end of each trading session all positions on Brent and WTI will be closed by the risk team and traders may initiate new positions after the market reopens.
Please note that for the next 3 weeks, due to US DST:
WTI opens at 00:01 and closes at 22:58 GMT +2
Brent opens at 02:05 and closes at 22:58 GMT +2
2. Indices and Metals: During weekdays overnight positions are allowed. After Friday close any position on indices and/or metals will be automatically closed and traders may initiate new positions after markets reopen.
Please note that for the next 3 weeks, due to US DST:
Major Metals and US indices open at 00:01 and close at 22:59 GMT +2
For detailed information on trading sessions of each symbol please refer to the trading platform. If you prefer to avoid automatic closure of positions, please make sure you close them manually as per the instructions above.
